New Company, Ailin, Offers Fashionable Clothing For Surf and Outdoor Marketplaces
New York, NY (August 2005) - Founders today announced the formation of Ailin Corporation, a company dedicated to developing fashionable surfing-based women's swimwear and lifestyle clothing from it's Manhattan design studio.

"The thing that is missing in the surfing and outdoor lifestyle clothing industry is a sense of fashion." stated Erin Bell, Ailin's Founder. "Women want to look good, without sacrificing style for function. That's why we chose to base Ailin in Manhattan - to be in the fashion capital of the US. Our company is staffed by surfers who understand the industry, but our clothing offers a level of style, grace, and performance not available from other manufacturers."
"Our clothing," continued Bell, "is designed to be versatile and lifestyle oriented - to be worn in and out of the water, on the mountain, or in the city by active women who are surf and outdoor enthusiasts."
"But even more important than style," says Bell, "is the fact that Ailin's clothing is designed from start to finish to have the smallest possible environmental impact. That's the third and equal part of our mission." The company uses environmentally sustainable methods and materials including usage of recycled materials in their clothing and business practices, and giving at least 1% of profits to environmental causes.
Ailin's clothing line will be displayed at the Action Sports Retailer (ASR) Trade Expo, September 9-11, in San Diego, California, after which it will be available at retail outlets throughout the US.
